Dan Jason is the founder and owner of Salt Spring Seeds, a mail order seed company that specializes in heritage and heirloom varieties of vegetables and plants. He was also one of the founding contributors/board members in Heather Apple's Seeds of Diversity Canada project and the Seed and Plant Sanctuary for Canada; both of which are seed banks dedicated to the health and vitality of the earth through the preservation and promotion of heritage seeds.
