Edible Landscapes nursery is a successful micro business on the Sunshine Coast of BC. Much of the stock was taken from healthy, food bearing trees and shrubs of the lower mainland of BC, or as seed purchased from England, a close mirror to our own marine climate. All plants are raised using BC Organic Standards and Edible Landscapes provides ongoing assistance to the limits of my own knowledge for the lifetime of your plant. Edible Landscapes is nestled into a small forest clearing, and the plants here are watered with a combination of the clearest mountain water and rainwater - this is the perfect place to grow pristine herbs! All herbs are hand selected and harvested, carefully air dried and hand packaged - for the freshest possible product.

Robin Wheeler is owner of Edible Landscapes. She is founder of the One Straw Society, the Sunshine Coast’s organic growers group. She has written two popular books entitled Food Security for the Faint of Heart and Gardening for the Faint of Heart. Robin is also a coordinator for Live and Learn, a program designed to strengthen food security and social connectedness by creating frequent and accessible learning situations for the people of the lower Sunshine Coast.

As well, Edible Landscapes operates the Sustainable Living Arts School. The mission of the school is to close the gap between those with particular skills in the sustainable arts and those wishing to hone their abilities, by providing learning opportunities, existing landscape samples, and time for networking. The Sustainable Living Arts School will assist learners to be better equipped to deal with changes (both chosen and those that may be thrust upon them) in their lives and environment, that they may be confident in living a healthy and happy life within the restrictions of what the planet can actually offer, and capable of creating a new standard of normalcy within their own communities.

Consulting & Services - Robin Wheeler provides consulting and gardening services. With Robin's diverse experience in organic gardening she can quickly look at your space and make a plan for turning it into the best edible landscape it can be. Robin blends native and exotic plants in a natural environment to meet your dining tastes and medicinal requirements. Consulting in person or over the phone, and seed & cutting starts are part of Robin's Gardening Services.
