"I’ll just throw it in the garbage" and "I’ll just burn it!" These are words we hear far too often. With today’s environmental issues at the forefront these are words we do not want to hear. We all know what is right and wrong and we all know the benefits of recycling and shredding. We owe it to our clients and ourselves to do the right thing! We owe it to our future!

OUR HISTORY: Monica M. Petreny and husband Steve Porter are the owners and operators of Coastline Recycling. Established in 1997, we are a small business with a huge reputation. We are very proud of our success over the years and the continued growing trust in Coastline Recycling in our community. We began our shredding service in May 2005 and to date have regular monthly clients and hundreds of year ends. We have gained the trust of our local hospital and their associates. As well, we regularly shred for all of the local governments, credit union, accountants, real estate companies, pharmacies, lawyers, doctors, insurance agents and numerous other businesses. New residential and commercial customers are always welcomed.

OUR EQUIPMENT: Coastline Recycling has a fully secured and insured processing facility at 1052 Gibsons Way that is equipped with a 10 horsepower industrial shredder (5/16 standard legal requirement). We have a Government certified scale, a Harmony 5 HP baler, 2 million liability insurance with HUB International TOS, a 2004 GMC W5500 – ( 4 ton truck with 5 million liability insurance), and uniformed staff (owners of the company). Regular monthly clients receive lock boxes – 32 gallon plastic rolling carts (100 lb. capacity - 19’’W x 22’’D x 37’’H), sizes can vary depending on your needs.

OUR SERVICE: We collect, shred and process materials on the same day. The shredded paper is then baled and shipped to Vancouver for processing. We have a 10 horse power Ameri-Shred industrial shredder that shreds 5/16’’ standard legal size. 2 week, 4 week, and 8 week scheduled service is available. Commercial and residential clients are welcomed and unscheduled pickups can be within a couple of days notice. We can shred all office pack material – including staples, paper clips, and floppy disks. Upon completion you receive a "Document of Destruction" which insures security while in our possession. We provide reliable and pleasant service and pride ourselves on being a small company that is big on service.
